We loved the cleanliness, hotel facilities, transportation, and the location to Hualien train station with just a short walk to the night market. The hotel certainly provided a great experience for the cost.
Hard to think of anything negative to say about this hotel.

The location was really good, just a short walk from the train station. They also offered free bikes to use which was a great way to explore the city over the weekend. the whole building was nicely designed and very clean.
The showers were quite bad as the water pressure was really low and the temperature kept fluctuating. It was quite difficult to get a consistent and comfortable shower.

I had a wonderful stay at Hualien Bird's House! The location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going so far as to give me a raincoat when it started to rain. The hostel was very clean and the rooms were cozy. I particularly loved the hangout area downstairs with Netflix and the use of a fridge, toaster oven, and hot water for tea and coffee. The owners were lovely and even surprised me with a special Hualien cake one day. I would highly recommend this hostel for its great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. I'll definitely recommend this hostel for future travelers.

This hostel is conveniently located near the railway station, making it easy to explore the city. the staff is friendly and goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable, such as providing bikes or surprising you with a special treat. the communal area offers amenities like a fridge, toaster oven, and drinking water for your convenience.
The hostel doesn't offer lifts, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues.

The location is great, just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which made it easy for us to move around. The room was cozy and comfortable and had a great view. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed.
The bathroom was shared and not very clean; it wasn't pleasant to use.
